Located conveniently between Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds, in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, Alpheton Village Hall provides a flexible venue and rehearsal space for clubs and family parties. Hall hire is available to parish residents, non-residents and businesses.
Events run at the hall are run for the benefit of the local community and are open to all.
Come join your neighbours every month at Alphie's Bar for a night of community, conversation, and camaraderie, on the last Friday of the month!
Set in the soot-stained industrial landscape of 1920s Stoke-on-Trent, The Colour Room tells the inspiring, true story of Clarice Cliff (Phoebe Dynevor). A vivacious and rebellious young factory worker, Clarice dares to dream beyond the confines of her class and gender. Bursting with bold ideas and vibrant artistic talent, she fights to revolutionise the rigid pottery industry with her groundbreaking Art Deco "Bizarre" range, turning a failing factory into a cultural phenomenon.
It is a spirited, feel-good drama about courage, creativity, and the power of one woman to paint her own path in a world that demanded she stay in the shadows.
