Located conveniently between Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds, in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, Alpheton Village Hall provides a flexible venue and rehearsal space for clubs and family parties. Hall hire is available to parish residents, non-residents and businesses.
Events run at the hall are run for the benefit of the local community and are open to all.

From the director Emer Reynolds comes a heartwarming and rebellious Irish road trip. After 12-year-old Mully steals a taxi with a bag of stolen charity money, he's shocked to find a woman, Joy, and her newborn baby asleep in the back. Joy is a lawyer who has decided to give her baby up for adoption, while Mully is on the run from his own thieving father. Thrown together by chance, this unlikely pair embarks on a wild journey across the stunning Irish landscape, running from the law and each other's pasts. A tale of two lost souls, "Joyride" is a poignant and funny story about finding family in the most unexpected places.
